How can teachers solve dilemmas

All jobs require moral guidelines to adhere to their descriptions, resulting in ethical behaviours. In education, it is a very crucial element as it concerns working with children, who often has the urge to imitate others. In today's society, teaching is known as the most powerful, yet the most difficult job because of the many arising issues among students, parents as well as teachers. So, how can teachers overcome these issues? Here are some examples.

1. Develop a good communication channel

Educators should ensure that they serve as effective communicators since they have the role to pass on information, which should not result in messages being conveyed in a negative way to parents or create misconceptions amongst students.

During classroom discussions, teachers should allow the opportunity to students to share their thoughts in allowing them to feel comfortable and having the eagerness to come to school everyday. For example, instead of pinpointing on a student's mistake or getting angry because of a wrong answer, teachers should remain calm and give positive feedbacks. This allows room for students to try again.

As with parents, teachers should speak in a firm voice, yet being considerate, kind and fair. Provide parents with solutions in helping their children improve. As it's not easy for you as an educator,  same applies to the parents! The better communication channel there is between the teacher and parents, the higher the child aims!

 2. Be approachable

Teachers should always have a 'smiling face' in order for students to be able to look up to, instead of being afraid to talk to. In that case, students remain engaged and energetic which can result in a strong bond between teacher and student.

3. Remain updated

Teachers are known as 'the know it all' to students and parents. This, they should ensure they are well prepared and up to date with knowledge that they are passing on. Besides this, they should also know some background information of each of the student so as to know how to deal with certain issues which might be arising,
